How we started

From human biotech to pet health.

Our roots go back to 2010, in human health biotech — 15 years spent building tools that helped uncover what's happening inside the body before problems became visible.

Our founder grew up with a dog that got sick and was gone before anyone understood why. Years later, his daughter asked a question that stuck: why can't this science help our pets live longer with us?

We didn't have a good answer, so we built one — taking microbiome science, genomic analysis, and data-driven interpretation, and rebuilding it for pets. Paw + Omics. Pawomics.

A test result is only as useful as the science behind it. Our team of Canadian microbiome scientists develops every product and analytical framework from the ground up, and all sequencing and interpretation happen in-house — not outsourced. That means consistent data, full traceability, and direct control over quality, from sample to report.
